General disclaimers
- Proposed architecture, not production quality. C=US is a Penn State AI-285 class project. Its pages describe a proposed design. Where a page says something is live, it runs as a pilot on the project’s own servers, not as a production service.
- Synthetic data. The agents, people, sponsors, grants, lots, readings and keys shown are synthetic unless a page says otherwise, and identity proofing is simulated.
- Project keys and certificates. The c=US root and the agent certificate authorities are the project’s own. They are not public certificate authorities, and nothing they sign is a government issuance or an eIDAS-qualified signature.
- No live writes from the pages. A browser page does not write to a government registry, a certificate authority or a production directory. Read-only pages make no directory change.
- Not advice or certification. Nothing on the site is legal, compliance, regulatory, food-safety, licensing, insurance or investment advice, a security certification, or a compliance attestation.
- No affiliation or endorsement. Governments, companies, standards bodies and products are named to identify sources, standards or integration contexts. Unless a page says otherwise, none of them is affiliated with C=US, endorses it, or has reviewed it. Pages that name a particular organisation say so below.
- AI-assisted work. Much of the site was researched and drafted with AI tools, which each page names. AI-assisted judgments are kept separate from verified facts.
- Statements by others. Quotations and published estimates belong to the people quoted and may have changed since.

Pages that keep their own notices
These pages are signed or attested, so changing them would break the signature. Their notices stay on the page, and are repeated here.
